The Publication
Closed for submissions at this time.
Since all proceeds from the publications (assuming there are any) go toward funding the greater Cyberpunk Apocalypse writers' project, we don't pay our contributors at this time. Contributors will get credit in the publication, and the satisfaction of knowing that they are helping to support fellow writers in the Pittsburgh area and beyond.
Curators:
The Cyberpunk Apocalypse isn't always put together by the same people. If you have a really cool idea for an issue that you would like to curate you can contact us at cyberpunkapocalypse{at}gmail.com with "Volunteer Curator" in the subject line. You should tell us what your idea is--what kind of content will be in it? What format will it be produced in (online only? traditional print? postcard? t-shirt? something way crazier?)? You should tell us a little about yourself (are you the kind of person that will actually follow through on this? Do you have some unique pespective we should know about?
Some other things for potential curators to think about are: (1)How does your idea relate to the intrests of the Cyberpunk Apocalypse publication (the everyday interaction of high-tech and low-life and how that affects our world, how thinking about our world as one of apacalypse and revelation changes our preception of things, what place writing has in our modern world, ect.)? (2)Dose your vision loosly fit in with the feel and tone of the other issues? (3)How do you plan to actually put out the publication? Our budget for this stuff is roughly $0.00, however creativity can replace money a lot of times. Are you going to take care of that on your own or do you want help with production?
